Performances

The Huntsville Youth Symphony, Philharmonia Orchestra, and Concert Orchestra perform for 3 concerts per season, with 8-10 rehearsals per cycle. Performances will be held at selected locations in our area. The Huntsville Youth Symphony also treats its audience to a Christmas Concert, which additionally includes Novice Strings players. Beginning Strings orchestras participate in the year-end Spring concert.

• December 5, HYS Chamber Orchestra performing Messiah at Oakwood

• December 13, Carols of Christmas, HYS performs with Trinity United Methodist Church Choir, 6:30, tickets available at Trinity

• January 18, Martin Luther King Concert, HYS with A&M Choir

• February 23, Faure Requim, HYS with area choirs

• February 27, Gerhart Competition

• March 7, Winter Concert

• March 26, HYS performs with Act of Congress

• May 2, Spring Concert

• June 6-12, Tennessee Valley Music Festival
